Post-Production Note:
In my lectures, I referred to breast and bowel cancers as "Sexy" due to their extensive media attention and funding compared to rare cancers like rectal cancer. This was not to diminish the trauma associated with any type of cancer but to highlight a critical disparity in research and support for different types of cancers. I feel deeply for all cancer patients and wish to emphasize that any form of cancer is traumatic, and my intention is to advocate for more equitable attention and funding for all types of cancer research.
