3 Minute French - Course 8 | Language lessons for beginners

Why take this course?
🌟 Build on from the knowledge you learnt in Courses 1-7 🌟
Welcome to Course 8 of the 3 Minute French series! 😊
This is the eighth installment of your journey learning French, and it's packed with essential lessons from 63 to 71. As one of the longest courses in this series, we start off by diving deep into the present tense, a cornerstone of any language learner's proficiency.
In our last course, we mastered the present tense for "vous" and the imperative. We're going to pick up right where we left off by expanding on the imperative and then tackling the full present tense, embracing all its complexities! 📚
Remember our French Building Structures in Course 4? Now, we're ready to explore the second structure in French. But that's not all - this course is brimming with content:
- Present Tense Mastery: We kick off the course by solidifying your understanding of the present tense, which was introduced at the end of Course 7.
- French Pronunciation Unveiled: Unlike traditional French courses that overwhelm you with pronunciation rules first, we've been gradually introducing you to words and their pronunciation. Now, with your expanding vocabulary, we'll dive into a comprehensive lesson on French pronunciation, covering consonants, vowels, and glottal stops. You'll learn how to apply pronunciation rules to decipher new words you encounter. 🎤
After the pronunciation deep-dive, we'll accelerate your language skills with:
- New Verbs & Phrases: We'll explore how to use "ce que" in French and how it contrasts with "que." You'll also get to grips with object pronouns and their variations when using the imperative.
- Tips to Sound More French: As you become more proficient, we'll share insider tips that will help you blend in more with native speakers.
- Grammar Nuances: We'll cover everything from using "cet" instead of "ce," to understanding how to use "de" and "à" with certain verbs to indicate "to."
- Expressing 'Leave Me Alone': Learn how to politely tell someone to leave you alone in French.
- Exploring "dans": We'll delve into the usage of this important preposition.
Don't rush through it! Each lesson builds upon the last, so take your time to absorb and practice the new tenses, vocabulary, and structures we're introducing. Remember, consistency and practice are key to mastering a language.
In this course, you'll also learn:
- Tips for Pronunciation: Small tricks that will make your French sound more natural.
- Using "ce que" vs. "que": Understanding the subtle differences in meaning and usage.
- Object Pronouns and Imperative Positions: How they can change in different sentences.
As always, I hope you really enjoy this course and make great strides in your French language journey. 🎓
Bon apprentissage | Happy learning 😊✨
