Comidoc Review

Our Verdict

This course provides a comprehensive guide to learning SvelteJS, covering all necessary features with real-life examples. Though there are some minor issues with a few starting projects not working out of the box and certain examples being outdated or requiring troubleshooting, these do not detract significantly from the overall value of the course. It would be beneficial for updated content to be added regarding SvelteKit, which has replaced Sapper.

What We Liked

  • In-depth coverage of SvelteJS from scratch, including core concepts and advanced techniques
  • High-quality instruction with clear explanations and examples
  • Course project that is iterative and helps to understand the mechanics of Svelte
  • Real-life examples presented in an understandable way

Potential Drawbacks

  • Some starting projects do not work out-of-the-box and require adjustments
  • Examples in the Sapper section could be more up-to-date with its successor, SvelteKit
  • Minor issues such as outdated libraries, stale content, and lack of some explanations
