Course Description:
NK101 is the first course out of 6 in an A-Z series by Compositing Academy, designed to help you become a professional compositor.
This Nuke visual effects training course will introduce you to the fundamental concepts of VFX Compositing in Nuke and its user interface. With a focus on the 2D aspects of compositing, you'll learn to replace backgrounds, perform color correction, blend foreground and background elements, track motion, and ultimately bring all these techniques together to create a seamless composite shot.
By the end of this course, you will be capable of compositing what would be considered a "Junior Digital Compositing" shot. The final project includes all of the techniques you learn along the way. It's designed to challenge you and demonstrate your newfound skills in a tangible way. As an added bonus, you'll also learn how to create an animated hologram effect from scratch that appears in front of a character!
A significant portion of the course involves theoretical knowledge, which is essential for understanding and successfully compositing a shot. While there is a learning curve, persisting through will reward you with a valuable skill set and a fantastic project to showcase your abilities.
Note: To follow along with this class, you will be required to sign up and download the project files provided by the course materials.
