As an architect-engineer from Leuven (Belgium), he has been involved in various projects that intersect BIM, 3D modeling, visualization, parametric design, programming, and software interoperability. Stefan's special focus is on openBIM and its integration into the design process. His PhD in 2007 was dedicated to this very subject at KU Leuven.
Throughout his career, Stefan has worked on numerous research and education projects, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with architectural visualization and digital historical reconstruction. With a deep understanding of both software tools and design principles, Stefan is uniquely qualified to guide you through this course.
